DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • ECU internal engine off timer performance
  1. PCM
  2. Battery low-voltage
  3. Incorrect or intermittent battery cable connections
  4. Engine coolant temperature sensor concern
  5. Engine cooling system concerns
Enable Conditions Case 1
  • Ignition "ON"
Case 2
  • Ignition "OFF"
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Absolute value of difference of Timer from PCA8565 and Timer from CPU every 120s greater than 6 %
Case 2
  • Absolute value of difference of Timer frequency (PCA8565) and CPU frequency greater than 6 %
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles

* LPC (Low Power Counter): Time counter after IG OFF
