DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check CAN message from FPCM
  1. Faulty fuel pump control module (FPCM)
  2. CAN communication line between ECM (PCM) and FPCM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine Run Time longer than 2sec.
  • Ignition Voltage greater than 11V
Threshold value
  • CAN communication error with FPCM
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 3 driving cycle
