DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Circuit Range/Performance Malfunction
  1. Circuit short or open
  2. Shift range signal error
  3. PCM/TCM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is above 10V
  • Engine speed is above 1500rpm
Threshold value
  • Invalid range signal
Detecting Time
  • More than 10sec
Fail safe
  • Normal status: All position possible
  • Abnormal status: Above 3rd position possible

    (3rd ~ 6th possible, 1st/2nd impossible)
