Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. IG "OFF" and disconnect APS connector.
  2. IG "ON".
  3. Measure voltage between signal terminal of APS harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. 0V

  4. IG "OFF" and disconnect APS connector and ECM connector.
  5. Measure voltage between APS signal terminal of APS harness connector and chassis ground.(Measurement "A")
  6. Measure voltage between APS signal and ground terminals of APS harness connector.(Measurement "B")

    Specification:  ∞ Ω

  7. Are the measured voltage and resistance within specification?

    YES 

    NO
