Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    NOTE:
    • The existing valve body cover gasket (A) must be replaced with a new one. (Do not reuse it.)

    • The existing eyebolt washers (8 pcs) must be replaced with new ones. (Do not reuse them.)

  2. Perform the procedures below after installing.
    1. Refill the automatic transaxle with fluid.

      (Refer to "Fluid ".)

    2. Refill the engine & transaxle system with coolant.

      (Refer to Coolant . )

    3. Refill the hybrid motor cooling system with coolant and then perform the air bleeding using the KDS/GDS.

      (Refer to Coolant . )

    4. Clear the diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) using the KDS/GDS. Disconnecting the battery negative terminal will not clear the DTCs. Clear DTCs using the KDS/GDS at all times.
    5. Reset the automatic transaxle adaptive values using the KDS/GDS.

    6. Perform the TCM adaptive values learning procedure.

      (Refer to "TCM Learning Procedure ".)

    7. Confirm that there is no fluid leakage on connections in the engine starting condition.
