Repair Procedures: Removal
- Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
- Disconnect the air compressor connector (A) and the alternator connector (B), and remove the cable from alternator "B" terminal (C).

- Loosen the mounting bolts (A) and then, turn the adjusting bolt (B) clockwise to loosen tension.

- Remove the drive belt (A).

- Remove the alternator brace assembly (A) after loosening the mounting upper bolt (B) and brace mounting bolts (C).

- Remove the alternator mounting low bolt (A), and then remove the alternator.
