Control Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF" and disconnect HO2S (S2) connector.
- Ignition "ON".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 4 (Control) terminal of HO2S (S2) harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 3.5V
- Ignition "OFF" and disconnect PCM connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 4 (Control) terminal f HO2S (S2) harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: ∞
- Is the measured Value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
