- Duration of downstream HO2S between 0.4 - 0.5V for more than 3 seconds.
- Load pulse: End of 3rd pulse.
- Battery voltage greater than 10.7V.
- Heat quantity from exhaust gas around downstream HO2S greater than 1~312 kJ.

- Average of loaded voltage greater than 2.8 V.

- Open circuit, Internal resistance too high.

| Enable Conditions |
- B+ greater than 10.7 V.
- EGT around downstream O2S greater than 600 °C (1112 °F) or Heat quantity from exhaust gas around downstream O2S greater than 1~312 kJ (Kilojoules).
