CAN Communication Line Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
  3. Disconnect HECU and MDPS ECU connector.
  4. Measure resistance between Pin No. 26 (CAN High) terminal of HECU harness connector and Pin No. 7 (CAN High) terminal of MDPS ECU harness connector.
  5. Measure resistance between Pin No. 14 (CAN Low) terminal of HECU harness connector and Pin No. 8 (CAN Low) terminal of MDPS ECU harness connector.

    Specification:  Approx. below 1Ω

  6. Has a problem been found?

    YES 

    NO
