DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC strategy
  • Check the voltage.
  1. Poor connection.
  2. Open or short to ground in signal circuit.
  3. Open or short to ground in Power circuit.
  4. Faulty APS.
Enable conditions
  • Ignition "ON" (Power Button LED "Red")
  • Auxiliary battery voltage (9 - 16 V)
  • In case there is no APS ratio error (no P2138)
Threshold value
  • In case APS1 signal voltage below 0.2 V is maintained for 0.3 seconds.
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.3 sec
DTC
  • Immediately
Service Lamp
  • Immediately
