General Information
The accelerator pedal position sensor (APS) is the sensor which detects the amount the accelerator pedal is pressed to judge the intention of driver to accelerate, and sensors 1 and 2 are installed on top of the pedal. The voltage value of sensors 1 and 2 increases as the pedal is pressed, and sensor 2 displays half of value displayed by sensor 1. EPCU recognizes APS1 signal as the position value of accelerator pedal and controls the drive motor.
