Inspect HO2S (B1/S1) Heater
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect HO2S (B1/S1) connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (Power) terminal and Pin No. 5 (Control) terminal of the HO2S (B1/S1) Heater. (Component Side)
Specification: Approx. 2.4Ω to 4.0Ω at 20°C (68°F)
- Is the measured resistance within specifications?
YES
- Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the HO2S (B1/S1) and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
