Check Knock Sensor
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect knock sensor #2 connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (+) Terminal And Pin No. 1 (-) terminal of the knock sensor. (Component Side)
Specification: Approx. 3.90 to 5.84MΩ at 25°C (77 °F)
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Verification Of REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the knock sensor #2 and go to "Verification Of REPAIR " procedure.
