Component Inspection

  1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF" and Using a GDS, clear the DTC.
  2. Ignition "OFF".
  3. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least one minutes.
  4. Disconnect WCS ECU connector.
  5. Substitute the WCS Module and check for proper operation.
  6. Is DTC present problem?

    YES 

    • Substitute a known-good WCS ECU and check for proper operation.

      If the problem is corrected, replace WCS ECU and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure and Go to "WCS RESET " procedure.

    NO 

    • Substitute a known-good WCS ECU and check for proper operation.

      If the problem is corrected, replace WCS ECU or seat assembly and Go to "WCS RESET " procedure.
