DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short to power in signal circuit
  3. Open in ground circuit
  4. TPS
Enable Conditions Case 1
  • Ignition "ON"
Case 2
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Engine idle state. Pedal value is less than 0.01% (pedal is not pushed at all)
  • Target throttle angle is less than 58%
  • TPS2 failure is detected
Threshold Value Case 1
  • TPS1 voltage is higher than 4.9V
Case 2
  • TPS1 voltage is higher than 3.0V at idle
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
