DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical Check
  1. Short to ground in signal circuit
  2. Poor connection or damaged harness
  3. Faulty Fuel Level Sender
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
  • Delay time when failure present is 35s
Threshold Value
  • Fuel Level Signal is less than 0.156V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
