DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • EGR valve motor circuit is short to ground
  • Faulty EGR valve
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V
Threshold value
  • Voltage of EGR actuator valve position sensor lower than 0.2V
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.1s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
