Circuit Inspection

INSPECTION PART - NVLD (NATURAL VACUUM LEAKAGE DETECTION) INSPECTION

Inspection Condition	(+) Probe		(-) Probe		Specification
Inspection Condition	Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal	Specification
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the battery (-) cable. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the component.	NVLD connector	3 (ground	Chassis ground	-	Approx. below 1Ω
	NVLD connector	2 (signal)	Chassis ground	-	∞ (infinite)Ω
	NVLD connector	2 (signal)	ECM connector	-	Approx. below 1Ω
Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON".	NVLD connector	1 (power)	Chassis ground	-	B+

Good	If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the Battery Sensor-ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) and go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
No Good	Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
