DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Short to Battery or Open in IAT Signal Circuit
  3. Faulty IAT Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Engine coolant temperature is higher than -30 °C (-22°F)
  • Ambient air temperature is higher than -30 °C (-22°F)
  • Battery voltage higher than 10V and lower than 16V
Threshold Value
  • Intake air temperature signal voltage higher than 4.93V (-40°F/-40°C)
  • Output voltage of IAT sensor represents open or short to power
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
