DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Short to Ground in ECT Sensor Signal Circuit
  3. Faulty ECT Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage higher than 6V and lower than 16V
  • No relevant DTC present
Threshold Value
  • ECT Sensor signal voltage lower than 0.0935V (284°F/140°C)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
