DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Coolant Temperature too low for Lambda regulation
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Faulty Cooling System
  3. Open or Short in ECT Sensor Signal Circuit
  4. Faulty ECT Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • ECT at engine start lower than 32°F (0°C)
  • 50s elapsed after start when difference of Lambda control enable ECT and ECT at start is 32°F (0°C)
  • 100s elapsed after start when difference of Lambda control enable ECT and ECT at start is 46.4°F (8°C)
  • 200s elapsed after start when difference of Lambda control enable ECT and ECT at start is 68°F (20°C)
  • 300s elapsed after start when difference of Lambda control enable ECT and ECT at start is 95°F (35°C)
  • Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
  • No relevant DTC present
Threshold Value
  • Coolant Temp. Signal lower than 5.25 °C (41.45°F)

  • Immediate
MIL ON Condition
