DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring the deviation of short term fuel trim
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Air leakage or restriction in Intake or Exhaust System
  3. Dirty Engine Oil or Oil Level Too High
  4. Faulty PCV
  5. Faulty Injector
  6. Faulty Fuel System
  7. Faulty EVAP System
  8. Faulty Sensor Signals
Enable Conditions
  • Engine Coolant Temp. higher than 145.4°F (63°C)
Threshold Value
  • Idle long term fuel trim more than or equal to 0.008g/rev or Part load long term fuel trim more than or equal to 25%
Diagnostic Time
  • 90s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
