Power Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Refer to RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR (RPS) and disconnect Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor connector.
- Ignition "ON"
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 9 (Power) terminal of Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor joint connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5V
- Is measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Ground Circuit Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in power circuit between Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor and PCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
