DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Open in TPS Supply Circuit
  3. Short to Ground or Open in TPS2 Signal Circuit
  4. Rationality CheckTPS2
Enable Condition Case 1
  • Ignition "ON"
  • No relevant DTC present
Case 2
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Engine operating state idle: Pedal Value less than 0.01% (Pedal sensor 1 voltage 0.859V, not pushed at all)
  • TPS setpoint less than 58%

    TPS1 and TPS 2 ratio failure detected or TPS1 failure detected
Threshold Value Case 1
  • TPS2 signal voltage lower than 0.12V
Case 2
  • TPS2 signal voltage at idle lower than 2V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 Driving Cycle
