Control Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Refer to FUEL TANK ISOLATION VALVE (FTIV) and ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) and disconnect Fuel Tank Isolation Valve and PCM connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (Control) terminal of Fuel Tank Isolation Valve harness connector and Pin No. 85 (Control) terminal of PCM harness connector.
Specification: Approx. below 1Ω
- Is measured value within specification?
YES
- go to "Component Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair open in control circuit between Canister Close Valve and PCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
