Power Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Refer to FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR (FTPS) and disconnect Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTPS) connector.
- Ignition "ON"
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 1 (Power) terminal of Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTPS) harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5V
- Is measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Ground Circuit Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in power circuit between Fuel Pressure Tank Sensor (FTPS) and PCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
