Signal Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
- Refer to FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR (FPS) and FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE (FPCM) and disconnect Fuel Pressure Sensor (FPS) and Fuel Pump Control Module connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (Signal) terminal of Fuel Pressure Sensor (FPS) connector and Pin No. 2 (Signal) terminal of Fuel Pump Control Module harness connector.
Specification : Approx. below 1Ω
- Is measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in signal circuit of Fuel Pressure Sensor (FPS) and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
