Digital Input Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
- Refer to ELECTRIC WATER PUMP (EWP) and ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) and disconnect Engine Electric Water Pump and PCM connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (Digital Input) terminal of Engine Electric Water Pump connector and Pin No. 69 (Digital Input) terminal of PCM harness connector.
Specification : Approx. below 1Ω
- Is measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in signal circuit of Engine Electric Water Pump and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
