Open in CAN Communication Line Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
- Disconnect PCM and FPCM connectors.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 77 (P-CAN High) terminal of PCM and Pin No. 3 (P-CAN High) terminal of FPCM.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 60 (P-CAN Low) terminal of PCM and Pin No. 8 (P-CAN Low) terminal of FPCM.
Specification : Approx. below 1Ω
- Is measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair short in P-CAN Communication circuit or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
