DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality Monitoring
  1. Faulty N Position Setting
  2. Poor Shift Lever Assembly
  3. Poor Connector Connection
  4. Faulty Inhibitor Circuit
  5. Faulty Inhibitor Switch
  6. Faulty PCM/TCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Normal Battery Voltage
  • Motor Speed (input) higher than 400 RPM
Threshold value
  • Invalid range signal is detected
Fail safe
  • Limp home mode (shift 3rd ~ 6th gear is OK but 1st, 2nd gear not engaged)
Detecting Time
  • 10s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
