Monitor KDS/GDS Data
- Ignition "OFF"
- Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Shift gear lever to "P", "R", "N", "D" and "Sports".
- Monitor "Shift Lever Switch" and "Current Gear" parameters in "Current Data
" with KDS/GDS.
Specification : Refer to Figure below
- Is displayed parameter within specification?
YES
- It can cause problems when the shift lever remains more than 10s in the middle. (Ex: P-R, R-N, N-D middle position) This problem can be solved by correcting the position of inhibitor switch without exchange.
Most occur intermittently. Therefore, perform to below procedure.
NO
- Go to "SHIFT CABLE INSPECTION " procedure.
- It can cause problems when the shift lever remains more than 10s in the middle. (Ex: P-R, R-N, N-D middle position) This problem can be solved by correcting the position of inhibitor switch without exchange.
