PCM/TCM Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Connect Oil temperature sensor connector.
- Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
- Monitor "Oil Temperature Sensor" parameters in "Current Data " with KDS/GDS.
- Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC) and select Simulation mode.
- Input 2 → 3 voltage at Oil temperature sensor signal line by simulation mode and Monitoring Oil temperature sensor.
Specification : Refer to Table below
The vehicle parameters can be changed by KDS/GDS simulation value.
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace PCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
