DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range inspection (open, short inspection)
  1. OPU component internal current sensor or temperature sensor is faulty
  2. OPU connector is contact inferiority or backed out terminal
Enable Conditions CASE 1
  • Low voltage battery is between 9V and 16V
  • ATF temperature is higher than 30°C (86°F)
  • EOP running
CASE 2/3
  • Low voltage battery is between 9V and 16V
CASE 4
  • Low voltage battery is between 9V and 16V
  • Vehicle soaking is more than 8h (engine "OFF")
  • The temperature difference between the inverter and the drive motor is less than 20°C (66°F)
  • EOP stop
CASE 5
  • Low voltage battery is between 9V and 16V
  • Vehicle Speed is over 10km/h (6.2MPH)
  • EOP running
CASE 6/7/8
  • Low voltage battery is between 9V and 16V
CASE 9
  • Low voltage battery is between 9V and 16V
  • EOP RPM change is over 300 RPM than before shift
Threshold value CASE 1
  • IGBT temperature sensor is under 0.15V
CASE 2
  • IGBT temperature sensor is over 4.74V
CASE 3
  • OPU internal rate of temperature change is more than 5°C (41°F) per 0.007s
CASE 4
  • OPU internal temperature is higher than 20°C (66°F) than that of the inverter and the drive motor
CASE 5
  • OPU internal rate of temperature Change is 0°C (32°F)
CASE 6
  • DC link current sensor is under 0.36V
CASE 7
  • DC link current sensor is over 4.75V
CASE 8
  • DC link current sensor is under 0.24V or over 0.96V
CASE 9
  • When shift gears, the difference between the input current and the initial input current is less than 0.06A
Detecting Time CASE 1/2
  • 2s
CASE 3
