DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy Case 1~3
  • Level 2 monitoring (=Process monitoring)
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Faulty PCM
Case 4
  • Check RAM Area/communication connections
Case 5
  • Level 3 monitoring (=Process monitoring)
Enable Condition Case 1
  • Ignition Switch "ON" or engine running
Case 2~3
  • Engine running
Case 4~5
  • Ignition Switch "ON"
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Actual value is higher or lower than allowable range
Case 2
  • Too high Engine Speed in case of ETC Limp Home
Case 3
  • Torque monitoring error
Case 4
  • RAM test/Checksum/SPI communication failure
Case 5
  • RAM/ROM error on microcontroller Checksum check Communication between Main controller and Monitoring unit Process Monitoring test calculation failed
