Component Inspection

Check TPS Performance 

1. Ignition "OFF"
2. Connnect CH A probe to TPS1 signal terminal (Pin No. 6) of ETC Motor connector and CH B probe to TPS2 signal terminal (Pin No. 4) of ETC connector.
3. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
4. Measure signal waveform of TPS1 and TPS2 together by stepping on and off the accellerator pedal.

   Specification  : Refer to Signal Waveform & Data

Confirm Part Inspection 

1. Does the TPS operate properly? (Check variation)

   YES 

   • Go to "System Inspection " procedure.

   NO 

   • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
   • If problem still occurs, replace ETC Motor and then go to "System Inspection " procedure.
