DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check during normal operation
  1. BSD installation angle Failure
  2. Control Module Master Missing Calibration
Enable Conditions
  • 1.6s after ignition "ON"
  • 1s after battery voltage is between 9 to 16V
Threshold Value
  • Check the adjustment of the master module. Failure is set by angle is out of range (+ or -7.5°)
Detecting Time
  • 0.5s
Symptom
  • Cluster warning message is "ON"
  • BSD switch LED is "OFF"
Fail safe
  • BSD/LCA function is failure
Recovery Condition
  • It is only cleared by tester
