DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check between TPS1 and TPS2
  1. Poor connection
  2. TPS
  3. PCM
  4. Obstruction in the throttle plate movement
  5. Throttle body assembly
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed greater than 320rpm
Threshold Value
  • Absolute value difference between TPS1/TPS2 position is greater than 6.3 %~12.2 %
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.14 Seconds
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check between TPS2 and Model TPS
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed greater than 320rpm
Threshold Value
  • Absolute value difference between TPS2/Model TPS (if TPS1 error) position is greater than 9%
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.2 Seconds
Mil On Condition
  • 1 Driving cycle
