Control Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect FPR connector.
- Ignition "ON" and Engine "OFF".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 1 (-), Pin No. 2 (+) terminal of FPR harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification:
FPR (-) Terminal: Approx. 0V
FPR (+) Terminal: Approx. 0.8V
- Ignition OFF & Disconnect PCM connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (-), Pin No. 2 (+) terminal of the FPR.
Specification: ∞
- Is the measured Value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
