Monitor KDS/GDS Data

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  3. Shift gear lever to "P", "R", "N", "D" and "Sports".
  4. Monitor "Shift Lever Switch" and "Current Gear" parameters in "Current Data" with KDS/GDS.

    Specification  : Refer to Fig 1 below

  5. Is displayed parameter within specification?

    YES 

    • If the shift cable is poor alignment, it can cause a malfunction. Therefore check the alignment of the shift cable before replacing the inhibitor switch.

    NO
