General Information: General Description

The Cluster memorizes what control modules are installed on the vehicle through CAN-BUS communication. The vehicle optional information is added in cluster during End Of Line (EOL) coding procedure. A DTC will be set if the optional information is different when compared between memorized optional information from CAN-BUS and optional information from EOL coding procedure. During assembly, EOL communication will verify that a DTC is not set during DTC searching. When repairing or replacing cluster, it is necessary to set the variant code using KDS/GDS in order to synchronize the optional components on the vehicle.
