DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy Case 1-3
  • Level 2 monitoring (= Process monitoring)
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Faulty PCM
Case 4
  • Check RAM area/communication connections
Case 5
  • Level 3 monitoring (= Process monitoring)
Enable Condition Case 1
  • Ignition "ON" or engine running
Case 2, 3
  • Engine running
Case 4, 5
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Actual value is higher or lower than allowable range
Case 2
  • Too high engine speed in case of ETC Limp Home
Case 3
  • Torque monitoring error
Case 4
  • RAM test/Checksum/SPI communication failure
Case 5
  • RAM/ROM error on microcontroller checksum check communication between main controller and monitoring unit process monitoring test calculation failed
