Status LED Circuit Check
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect BSD switch & BSD ECU (RH) connector.
- Measure resistance of Pin No. 13 (LED power) of the BSD Switch connector and Pin No. 3 (LED power) of the BSD ECU (RH) connector.
Specification: Below 1.0Ω
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect BSD switch & BSD ECU (RH) connector.
- Measure resistance of Pin No. 13 (LED power) of the BSD Switch connector and chassis ground.
Specification: ∞ (infinite)Ω
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect BSD switch connector.
- Measure resistance of Pin No. 8 (LED ground) of the BSD Switch connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Below 1.0Ω
- Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Check BSD LED switch connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Check for open or short ground in the BSD switch circuit.
- Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
