Power Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF".
- Refer to MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR (MAPS) and disconnect MAP Sensor connector.
- Ignition "ON".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 2 (Power) terminal of MAP Sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5V
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Ground Circuit Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in power circuit between MAP Sensor and ECM/PCMand then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
