Repair Procedures: Removal: Notes

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

Driver/Passenger Power Window Switch 

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the front door trim.

    (Refer to Body - "FRONT DOOR TRIM ")

  3. Loosen the front door armrest (A) mounting screws.

  4. Using a screwdriver or remover, separate the mounting clips and then remove the driver door module panel (A).

  5. Loosen the mounting screws and then remove the driver door module (DDM) (A) after separating the mounting clips.

    CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the mounting clips.
