Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS) Performance Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect ECTS connector.
  3. Measure resistance between Pin No. 3 (Signal) terminal and Pin No. 1 (Ground) terminal of the ECTS. (component side)

    Specification:  Approx. 1.8 kΩ at 81.9°F (27°C)
