Check Oil Pressure Control Valve Operating State

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the Oil Pressure Solenoid Valve connector.
  3. Apply power to Pin No. 1 (Fuse-SENSOR2) and connect ground to Pin No. 2 (control) terminal of Oil Pressure Solenoid Valve. (Component Side)

    Specification:  Operating sound is heard

  4. Does the Oil Pressure Solenoid Valve operate properly?

    YES 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the Oil Pressure Sensor and go to "Verification Of REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the Oil Pressure Solenoid Valve and go to "Verification Of REPAIR " procedure.
