Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the battery negative terminal and wait for at least thirty seconds before beginning work.
Remove the floor console.
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "FLOOR CONSOLE ")
Disconnect the Supplemental Restraint System Control Module (SRSCM) connector (A).

Loosen the bolt and nuts and then remove the Supplemental Restraint System Control Module (SRSCM).
CAUTION: You must remove or install SRSCM or other SRS components with the ignition switch OFF to avoid accidental airbag deployment.
