DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Pressure sensor signal monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Signal circuit open or short to ground
  3. Oil pressure sensor
  4. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • No concerned DTC
  • Above 5s after engine "ON"
  • Battery voltage higher than 8V
Threshold Value
  • Pressure sensor signal value is indicative of the circuit short to ground
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous inspection (failure at least 5s through a test in every 10s)
MIL ON Condition
  • Only DTC express (MIL OFF)
