DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • EGR actuator position sensor circuit is opened
  • EGR actuator position sensor circuit is shorted to ground
  • Faulty EGR actuator position sensor
Enable Condition
  • The study of valve lowest position is completed
Threshold Value
  • EGR actuator valve position sensor output voltage is lower than 3.5V or higher than 4.51V
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.1s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
