DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • EGR Actuator position sensor circuit shorted to battery.
  • EGR Actuator position sensor malfunction
Enable Condition
  • Engine running
Threshold Value
  • Valve position sensor voltage is higher than 4.74V.
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.1s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
